Tuesday, December 17, 2024 - The newly posted Immigration Service Controller in Jigawa State, Mr. Tahir Musa Abdullahi, has promised to promote ethical and transparent operations to strengthen border security and the fight against illegal migration.
Speaking to journalists shortly after assuming office, Mr. T.A. Musa
expressed his happiness for the warm reception he was accorded in the state.
He noted that, as the new state controller, he would promote ethics and
transparency among his men and in the general operational system of the
Immigration Service in the state.
“We will work closely with all sister security agencies to secure all
the borders within our jurisdiction.
“However, we will collaborate with all necessary stakeholders and the
general public to gather useful information that will help in safeguarding the
territorial integrity of our nation, peace, and stability.”
“Our paramount duty is securing our borders against smuggling, human
trafficking, illegal migration, and other suspicious cross-border movements
that may jeopardize the country’s peace and stability, and we will use all
available resources to achieve these,” T.A. Musa declared.
CIS then appealed to his men to prepare for more ethical and rigorous operations in making Jigawa State and Nigeria a secure environment for all good people.
