President TINUBU back in Nigeria after 2-week vacation abroad


Sunday, October 20, 2024 -President Bola Tinubu has returned to the country after his trips to England and France.

The presidency announced this on Saturday night, releasing a footage of the presidential jet touching down at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, also confirmed his return

The President was received on arrival, among others, by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; Ministers, including Wale Edun (Finance), Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Budget and Economic Planning), Nuhu Ribadu (National Security Adviser), and Abdullahi Ganduhe (National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Critics of government had faulted the absence of both men but the presidency said there was no vacuum in leadership.
