Friday, October 25, 2024 -Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, spokesperson for the Nigerian Police Force, has issued a strong response following an alleged assault case in Abuja involving a potential passenger and a client.
The altercation reportedly occurred when the client refused to allow the
passenger’s luggage to be placed on the car seat, insisting it be put in the
boot instead. This led to a confrontation, with witnesses describing the
passenger’s behavior as aggressive and “arrogant.”
Reacting to the incident on social media, Adejobi stated, "The
victim should follow up his case. No one is above the law. Let him report at
the nearest police station and call my line or drop a message for me, or reach
out to @PoliceNG_CRU. We stand for justice. I don’t think it’s proper to treat
a human being like this."
The Nigerian Police Force spokesperson emphasized the importance of respecting human dignity and urged the victim to report the incident for a thorough investigation.
