Tuesday, October 1, 2024 - Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has been praised by Nigerians for distributing food items to Lagos residents.
The distribution took place in Shomolu, Yaba, and Mushin in Lagos
State.
The actress, who is promoting her upcoming movie “Everybody Loves
Jenifa,” took to Instagram to share a video of the philanthropic efforts.
“Jenifa‘s joy is contagious! Sharing food, laughter, and love with
our community. Sewing seeds of kindness in different local govt areas in Lagos
state. First stops are (Shomolu, Yaba, Mushin),” she captioned the post.
Akindele’s gesture has earned widespread praise from colleagues
and fans alike.
Veteran actress Ebelle Okafor.said: “You reap what you sow, more
grease lady Funke.”
Juliana Olayode also applauded Akindele, stating, “Everybody
Loves Jenifa, Jenifa loves everybody. God bless you, Mama”
Other notable figures in the entertainment industry, including
Itele, Debbie Shokoya, Phyna, Jide Awobona, Paschaline Alex, Ngozi Nwosu, and
Omowunmi Dada, also offered words of encouragement and blessings.
