Ban bride price now! We no longer have resources to buy yam and other requirements – man says

Saturday, September 14, 2024 -A Kogi state man, Alabi John Ozovehe, has called for the scrapping of bride price.

According to him, men can no longer afford to buy yams and other requirements because of the economic crisis in the nation.

It's said that the traditional marriage requirements in Kogi include 100 tubers of yam.
