Monday, August 12, 2024 - A video shared online shows students of a school using stones to break their phones after allegedly being ordered to do so by the Parents' Association of their school.
The school is believed to be situated in a state in Northern
Nigeria, going by their attire.
In the video, some adults are seen sitting nearby, monitoring the
students as they destroy their phones with stones.
One student seemed distressed by this order and was seen wiping
tears from her face.
According to reports, the students were being punished for poor
academic performance.
