Saturday, August 31, 2024 - A Nigerian man has taken to social media to narrate the painful experience of losing his girlfriend to another man with more financial resources after a revealing video call exposed the truth.
The man, who had recently left Lagos,
recounted how he called his girlfriend to check on her, only for her to claim
she was at church. However, during the video call, he noticed something
unusual—the ceiling in the background had a distinctive blue POP (Plaster of
Paris), a design choice uncommon in the local churches of their Lagos
neighbourhood.
Realizing that his girlfriend was in
a luxurious property, likely belonging to another man, the heartbreaking
reality of the situation set in. The man shared that this was the moment he
understood he had lost his girlfriend to someone with more money.
