Tuesday, August 13, 2024 - A Nigerian woman, Ella Chioma Ezeadilieje, has showered praises on her husband for his unwavering support and commitment to her and their marriage.
Ella said she shared the story to show that happy marriages and
great men still exist unlike the ‘madness’ seen on social media.
"This is what support looks, feels and
tastes like. This Anambra man??? None like him. None. He carries my matter on
his head...whatever it is, this man is a solution seeker," she wrote in a
Facebook post on Tuesday, August 13.
I remember on 2010, we were married for
just under a year, I had a job with UNICEF as a Master Trainer for Adolescent
Reproductive Health and Sexuality and we were posted to different locations to
carry out the job.
When I got my posting, it was to
Port-Harcourt and I pranked my new husband then, called and told him that I was
posted to Maiduguri...crying that I will not go...its too far!
Anambra man did quick calculations on
the phone and said...how can you say you will not go??? How much is flight??
Wait, we will book flight to Abuja and from there to Maiduguri (he went to
UniMaid), he was already making arrangements with people that will help me!
The money was big and even if I took 4
flights, it was still worth it, so he kept pushing and saying...you must go!
That day I knew that this one had my
back die!
I keep telling this stories because if
we keep silent, younger people would think that social media madness is the
standard for marriages.
There are great marriages and greater
men...na you dey find six packs and man wey dey do dorime for club!
At the B³ Summit in April, many of you saw him in action. Generator failed...Anambra man shelled out half a million naira, got a new gen, helped dig a hole to mount the cable and got light!
