–The Baale of Kuto, Muftau Kehinde, has urged the Ogun State police command to thoroughly investigate the murder of his son, Fatai Kehinde.

Fatai, a POS operator, popularly known as Faithy, was brutally murdered by suspected cultists on Friday, August 9.

The deceased was reported to have been chased by the assailants from his shop inside the Kuto Market to under the bridge where he was killed.

However, the Baale on Wednesday dismissed rumors that his son was a member of a cult, challenging anyone with evidence to come forward.

Expressing grief and dismay, he implored the police to conduct a thorough investigation and apprehend those responsible for the unfortunate incident.

He said he left his son’s shop around 7 pm the previous evening only to be informed of his death the next day as he was preparing for the Ijemo Day celebration.
