Adamawa police arrest two suspected armed robbers who attacked man in Anambra and stole his vehicle

-Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested two suspected armed robbers and recovered a stolen vehicle.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, June 7, 2024, said the suspects attacked one Daiso Kyrian in Awka, the Anambra State capital and stole his car. 

“On 20/05/2024, the Adamawa State Police Command received a complaint from one Daiso Kyrian, that on 12/04/2024, armed robbers attacked him in Awka, Anambra State, shot him, and stole away his Lexus Jeep RX 330,” the statement read.

"Upon receiving the report, a thorough investigation was carried out by the Command's surveillance team

"Luckily one Saidu Mohammed, aged 30 years of Gombi LGA, was arrested in possession of the said vehicle

 "Investigation further conducted led to the arrest of another suspect, 25-year-old Rabiu Idris of the same address in connection with the case.
