Wednesday, March 27, 2024 – A 25-year-old man identified as Khalid has been stabbed to death during a fight with his friend in Magama-Gumau, Toro LGA of Bauchi State on Tuesday, March 26.
According to eyewitnesses, there was a
heated argument among a group of young men including the deceased towards the
end of Ramadan fast.
The guys were said to have been walking
towards a JIBWIS Mosque in the town to break their fast when the heated
argument ensued. The argument degenerated so fast into a fight. The deceased
was caught unawares by his attacker who was said to have drawn out a sharp
object and stabbed him in the neck while others ran away having been taken by
surprise by the action.
Passersby rushed him to a private hospital
in the town where he died even before any medical attention could be offered to
him.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the
spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Wakili, said
